Meet Our Head of School
Nancy Gribble-Tay, M.Ed.
Ms. Gribble-Tay earned a Master’s degree in Education from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. As a career educator, Nancy has 23 years of “on the floor” experience as a teacher in four different educational systems, public, private, and international. She has two AMI Montessori trainings for the Primary and the Elementary aged child from the Association Montessori Internationale. Nancy has also completed the administrator’s first tier training from the North American Montessori Teacher’s Association (NAMTA). Her involvement and commitment to Montessori education began when her two daughters started school many years ago. She is committed to helping children in their own self-construction by making Montessori education available for every child.

Our Board of Directors
WilCo Montessori Partners, Goodwater's parent organization, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, guided by a board of committed individuals of diverse professional backgrounds who share a commitment to bringing a Montessori education to all families.

Kate McSpadden, President
  Ms. McSpadden brings business experience to the WilCo Montessori Partners Board of Directors after 15 years in sales and management in the entertainment industry and six years in the residential real estate business.  She has one child who attends a charter school. She previously served in several capacities on the board of directors of a non-profit Montessori School.
Mary Evelyn Bowling, Secretary
Ms. Bowling's expertise in process management and organizational management ensures impeccable record keeping and adherence to bylaws and open meeting laws.  She has two children who attend a charter school, and she was involved in the inception of Meridian World School in Round Rock, Texas.
Mickell Powers Moss - Board Member
Mr. Moss is a residential real estate agent and former middle school theater teacher.  He has a son who attends a charter school in Williamson County.  He is a former Montessori parent who brings valuable public middle school experience to the organization.
Carl Illig - Board Member
 Mr. Illig is the Manager of a private investment company and the Associate Executive Director of the W.D. Kelly Foundation in Georgetown, TX.  He is a former real estate agent and holds an Associate of Applied Science in Network Administration.  He is deeply involved in the Georgetown community through his work with CASA, Southwestern University, Community Montessori School, and the Palace Theater.  He has one daughter who is a Montessori student.
Charlene Burgess - Board Member

Ms. Burgess is the Head Start director for all programs in Williamson and Burnet Counties and formerly served as the Education Coordinator for Opportunities for Williamson and Burnet Counties, a non-profit in Central Texas.  She holds an MEd and BA in Human Development from the University of Texas at Austin. She has two sons who are charter school students.
