Goodwater Montessori staff and the Board of Directors are carefully monitoring all developments regarding the COVID-19 virus. We continue to operate under the guidance of the Texas Education Agency and local and state health officials in this uncertain time.
Our academic staff is reviewing options for remote and online learning in the event of TEA or health department-mandated school closure.
We ask that you all have a relaxed and enjoyable break. Please continue to monitor your email over Spring Break for any and all communications from Goodwater regarding possible school closures or opening delays.
Please remember that good hygiene and hand-washing is key to preventing the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our students and staff is our utmost concern.
On a broader level, we also want to keep in mind the notion of “flattening the curve” to prevent overwhelming our health care system with illness. Protective measures include hand-washing, social distancing, and staying home if you are ill. You may have already seen the widely-circulated graph below.
As always, if you have any questions please contact us.
