Open House and Classroom Visits for Elementary Students
Monday, August 12
On Monday, August 12, we will host our annual Open House and Classroom Visit night for all Elementary Students. This evening is a time for our new Elementary families and our students to visit their classroom if they are moving up, changing communities, or who will have a new Guide.
This evening will be an opportunity for all families to come to the school for the purposes listed below. Elementary Classrooms will be open to visit and drop off personal supplies. This is not a time to have lengthy conversations with the Guides about students. You may schedule those at a later time.
Please try to follow this schedule below for parking and space concerns. PARKING IS GOING TO BE LIMITED:
5:30 - 6:30 PM for Students with last names that begin with A-M
6:30 - 7:30 PM for Students with last names that begin with N-Z
7:30 - 8:00 PM for Primary and Adolescent Families who still need to obtain the below information:
This night for all families we will:
- Distribute Carline Cards for dismissal (you must have this in order to pick up your students and be prepared to show ID.)
- Have information and forms for Meal Service and Free and Reduced Meals
- Have registration and forms for After School Enrichment
- Distribute general information
- Accept enrollment documents
- Provide volunteer opportunity information
If you cannot make this evening you may come by the school on Wednesday to obtain your Carline card.
Please note that the Primary Communities DO NOT participate in this evening. The new primary students will visit their classrooms one-on-one with their parents and Guides. The Guides will be reaching out to families in August to schedule those visits.
